66th Republic day was celebrated at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada
The 66th Republic Day celebrations were observed at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. On the eve of Republic day celebrations the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu got the Guard of honour and hoisted the flag.
Speaking on this occasion, Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu opined that the people of India should have morals and should not forget their social responsibility and should always work hard for the prosperity of the country. He reminded of the army personnel who are guarding the border. He also said that the youth of India should use their abilities and should attain higher position in their lives and he opined that it is to remember that winners will always do the things better, so rest of the people should get inspired by their works. He opined that the present Prime Minister has introduced Swatch Bharath for the sake of people only. He opined that everyone should do their duty perfectly in order to make the country touch the top position. He called the youth as excellence for the country and also opined that youth should be aware about the projects and schemes by the Government.
On the occasion of Prathijna Divas, the ABVP representative made the students and faculty members take an oath against the Narcotics use in youth and in support of Environmental friendly country making.
On this occasion the prizes were given away through the hands of Shri BEVL Naidu for the winners of Debate competition, Essay writing and Solo singing competitions. The Certificates for the NSS adventure camp were also given away to the NSS students. The Dean of Foreign students affairs Shri MDT Gopal spoke on this occasion. The student from Afghanistan Mr. Humayan and the student from Ivory Coast Mr. Yao Issac appreciated the students and they opined that India is a great country and they are closely observing the procedures how the Indians are respecting their country and the flag etc., They gave their wishes to the students on this occasion.
The Principal of Aditya PG College, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao, The Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College Dr. Maniprakash and the Principal of Aditya Degree College for women Smt. K.Karuna attended the programme. The NSS programme officers Shri T. Tejeswara rao, Shri L. Divakara Rao, Shri Subrahmanyam, Ms. Bhavana and the Physical directors of Aditya Degree Colleges Mr. Ramaraju and Ms.Jyothi and the teaching and non-teaching members were present at the occasion. Sweets were distributed to the participants at the end of the programme.
