“INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY” OBSERVED AT ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN,KAKINADA.

The Principal Of Aditya Degree College For Women,Kakinada,Smt.K.Karuna said that “International Yoga Day”observed at Aditya Deegree College For Women.On this occasion,Smt.Kamala Kumari,famous Yoga Trainer conducted Yoga session for the students. The Yoga session was arranged for all  the students in Aditya Degree College For Women.

On this occasion, Acadamic Co-ordinator of Aditya Degree & PG colleges, Sri.B.E.V.L.Naidu said that Yoga was propounded by the ancient Indian sage Patanjali and is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Yog’ which means ‘union,’ presumably union with the divine being or God. It is a secular and scientific methodology to experience the integration of the body-mind-soul. our ecosystem.He also said that A few minutes of yoga during the day can be a great way to get rid of stress that accumulates daily – in both the body and mind. Yoga postures, pranayama and meditation are effective techniques to release stress.

The students of Aditya Degree College participated in the Yogasanas programme conducted by Smt.Kamala Kumari. On this occasion she said that A sage, Patanjali, put forward yoga as a system of philosophy. The common form of Yoga is also referred to as the Ashtang Yoga, which comprises of eight basic features namely Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratayahara, Dharna, Dhayan and Samadhi. Each feature has its own importance.she also opined that Most of the medication systems are dependent on our environment. To produce medicines, some times, trees are cut or animals are injured. But, Yoga is one form of treatment that is truly Environment-friendly. Yoga is the Eco-friendly Way for Curing Ailments and providing treatments. Practicing Yoga is the only form of treatment, which does not harm any animal or plant to produce treatment. This form of treatment is very successful, if done with proper points. The practice of Yoga does not injure or harm.

The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy and The Director of Aditya Educational Institutions Smt.N.Suguna Reddy said that The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind, it helps to manage stress and anxiety and keep you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improved respiration, energy and vitality. Practicing yoga might seem like just stretching, but it can do much more for your body from the way you feel, look and move.

The Principal Of Aditya Degree College For Women,Kakinada,Smt.K.Karuna said that practice of yoga not only helps in improving the body’s physical aspects, but also helps with the spiritual and mental aspects. Performing yoga on a regular basis is a great way to bring relief from stress and achieve a sense of well-being. This is because the practice of yoga helps in encouraging relaxation and in bringing down the cortisone levels in the body. Yoga also helps in easing aches and pains in the body, and individuals with serious diseases have claimed to have less pain after practicing breathing exercises and yoga postures.
