VINAYAKA CHATHURDHI CELEBRATIONS@apsamp1

Vinayaka Chathurdhi Celebrations were thematic with aim of spreading awareness not only about the rituals of this festival but also importance of preserving the environment by avoiding pollution.
Students exhibted their talents in various activities like songs and dances. The programme started with Vinayaka’s birth as installation as supreme commander, importance of Palavelli and Pathri Pooja, the medicinal values of various herbs used in it. Protection of environment by using eco-friendly and mud idols was insisted. Eco-freindly idols were also distributed to the local Government Officers J.A.C.Convener Sri.V.Samuel Diwakar and Station Fire officer Sri.Janaki Ram.The health aspects of sit – ups were told.
The Principal Smt.Jaya Lakshmi and the Vice – Principal Smt.Vijaya Gowri appreciated the Students.
