KRISHNASTAMI CELEBRATIONS @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, KAKINADA

The students of Aditya Degree College for Women  celebrated Sri Krishna Janmastami with gaiety and enthusiasm. Devotional songs and Rangoli competitions were held in the campus. The college campus wore a festive look traditional decorative and students attired in traditional dresses.

The Academic co-ordinator Sri B.E.V.L.Naidu greeting the staff and students said ” No other country has the prominence than India in the world’s social history because of its religious and social customs. celebrations of festivals plays an important role in our lives because they remind us of our past, touch our present and inspires us to build our future. In this modern age as our traditions are being polluted, it is our duty to rejuvenate our future generation by teaching the importance  of festivals.”

Aditya Degree College for Women’s principal Smt. K. Karuna Said that these functions are held to highlight the importance of festivals in our lives. Lord Krishna incarnated in human form to taught us to live in human society through Bhagvat Gita. These teachings are the guiding principles of our best management teachings which are used effectively in the personality development of students.

Later vutti ceremony is celebrated with enthusiastic participation of students. These programs were conducted by the students under the guidance of  NSS program officers, Smt. E. Sunitha and Sri. M. Simhadri.
