Diwali – An Event to Enlighten the Nescience celebrations@apssri

The celebration of Diwali is designed for two days at Aditya School,Srinagar. The first spell of the Celebration Dhantherus has been inaugurated with the lighting of lamp by Smt.N.Sruthi Reddy Director of Aditya Education Institutions. We know that the Six passions of mind  Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment, Pride and Jealousy are considered as the six  demons. To get the purification of mind the effigies of these Arishadvargas were burnt by the students. Later the students in the costumes of Srikrishna & Satyabhama  demolished the effigy of Narakasura by fire that was arranged in the centre of the school ground. Later the students performed a dance with lights inviting Goddess Lakshmi. Speaking on this occasion Director Smt.N.Sruthi Reddy said, “ Diwali symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness”. Principal Smt. M. Ramani suggested  the students to celebrate this Diwali as a noise – free Diwali. She also explained the students the mythological & scientific reasons hidden behind the celebration of Diwali. She also gave them some safety measures to be taken while burning Crackers. Wishing the young minds on this occasion, Vice Principal Smt.N.Sridevi Reddy said, “ Let us celebrate this Diwali as an Eco-Friendly Diwali”. Later the students fired the crackers bubbling with joy.
