International Day for the Aged celebrated by NSS units of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada

International Day for the Aged celebrated by NSS units of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu said that it was celebrated in a grand way.

On 1st October of every year, the International Day for the Aged is being celebrated and the NSS units of Aditya Degree Colleges are always on the forefront to celebrate this occasion. This year, the day is observed at Brahmanandapuram village of Achampet Panchayat. On this eve, food and fruits were distributed to the age old people in the village. The Coordinator of Education wing of Bhagavan Satya Sai Samithi Dr. D.S. Shyamala and the village ward member Shri Dyvarao attended the programme. The food and fruits were distributed through the hands of village heads.

The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri N. Sesha Reddy and the Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri N.K.Deepak Reddy appreciated the student volunteers and Programme officers of Aditya Degree College NSS units for distributing food and fruits to the needy old people on the eve of International Day for the Aged.

As the age does not support, the old people are unable to do any physical activity, keeping in this mind, the student volunteers and the Programme officers of Aditya Degree College NSS units distributed food and fruits to the Old people in the village of Brahmanandapuram. The Principal of Aditya Degree College Shri BEVL Naidu and the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash gave their wishes to the old people on the eve of International Day for the Aged and appreciated the NSS programme officers Shri T. Tejeswara Rao and Shri L. Divakara Rao and the student volunteers for their affection towards the Aged.
