Aditya Degree college for women students selected for Adi Kavi Nannyya University KHO-KHO team

The Principal of Aditya Degree College For Women,Smt.K.Karuna said that Kakinada Aditya Degree College For Women students got selected for Adi Kavi Nannyya University kho-kho team. Kum.Eswari,Kum.Padma,Kum.Lakshmi Priya who is studying First  year degree got selected for Adi Kavi Nannyya University kho-kho team. The selection Kho-Kho match was played at Adi Kavi Nannyya University ground,rRajahmundry during October 9th to 10th.  The University match will be conducted in Chennai from 18th October 2014 onwards. On this occasion Smt.K.Karuna congratulated the selected students

On this Occasion Sri.B.E.V.L.Naidu congratulated the selected students and he spoke Sports and games improve our capability. They improve our efficiency. Either study or work alone makes us exhaust. We remain no longer efficient to do any work. Sports remove our mental exhaustion. Sports are integral part of education. Education without sports is incomplete. Keeping their value in life, children are taught some sorts of games in the very early stage in school. These days’ sports are a part of academic curricula. He also said that Sports are particularly important for the youth. They help in their physical and mental growth. They contribute in the formation of character. They inculcate in them good values.

The secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Sri.N.Krishna Deepak Reddy and Director of Aditya Educational Institutions Smt.N.Suguna Reddy said that  Kho-Kho is one of the most popular traditional sports in India and it is played quite extensively in the country. The game of Kho-Kho is an immense test of the participants` physical fitness, strength, speed and stamina and it also requires a certain amount of ability on behalf of the participants.They also said that Sports play a vital role in the enhancement of one’s personality by being a source of exercise and entertainment. Sports serve as an excellent physical exercise and  often involves physical activities like running, jumping and stretching and moreover a constructive expenditure of energy.Playing sports since an early age strengthens the bones and muscles and tones one’s body.Thus sports provide the body with a complete exercise. Regular exercise helps increase the overall quality of life.
