ADITYA BUSINESS SCHOOL STUDENTS RURAL MARKETING SURVEY

The students of BM 1 semester were taken on a survey by Mrs.S.K.Soujanya( Asst.Professor Marketing) to 5 Mandals in East Godavari District for “ A Study on Rural Marketing”during the month of Feb 2014. The objectives of the study and the survey  were to find out which are the most successful and highest selling brands in Biscuits, Confectionary, Salted Snacks and Soft drinks categories. The Government School students who are in the age group of 13-15 were selected and issued questionnaires in Vernacular . The batch of 55 students participated in the survey. The study made them interact with children and learn new issues in Marketing .They were made to survey as  a part of Understanding the concept of “Marketing Research” in the subject of Basics of Marketing   in a live and practical  manner.
