Management students should have Imagination as their Power: Shri NK Deepak Reddy

            Aditya Degree College Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) group students organized the state level management event CONFLUENCE – 2014 by involving the all the BBM course offering degree colleges in the area of Andhra University, Adi Kavi Nannaya University and Acharya Nagarjuna University. Giving this information the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu told that a total of 600 students attended from 16 degree colleges across these areas.

The inaugural session was presided over by the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges Shri BEVL Naidu. In his opening remarks Shri Naidu told that the BBM course is offered by Aditya Degree College in a prestigious way and the course is supported by Aditya management by promoting with facilities like industrial tours and seminars by experts and professors in the field of Management, case studies and with these activities the students are exposed to industrial interface he added. He opined that with these facilities there will be no second thought for the parents and students about the BBM course at Aditya Degree College.

The chief guest of the event, the Deputy Director of Khadi and Village Industries commission, Kakinada Shri M. Koteswara Rao told that though more opportunities are present in the fields of Banking, Employment and Marketing, the final selection of employees is always based on the skill sets of the candidates only. He appreciated the management of Aditya for running BBM course prestigiously.

The special invitee of the programme and the Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Shri NK Deepak Reddy appreciated the students who took up this mammoth task of conducting such a state level event and showed their creativity. He explained about the opportunities for the management specialist from small business to the MNCs and opined that apart from the subject knowledge the students should also show their skill sets to succeed the opportunities. He opined that Imagination is the great power of management students. He gave various examples of successful entrepreneurs who inspired the world.

The guest of the honour of the programme, Assistant Manager of Sodexo, Shri Shiju Varghese said that Aditya Degree Colleges are taking necessary care about the BBM Course and running it in a most spectacular way, in the same fashion, the BBM students of Aditya Degree College conducted this CONFLUENCE – 2014 in a splendid way, she added. He also opined that with these kind of events there will be exchange of views, ideas and plans between the students of Andhra University, Adi Kavi Nannaya University and Nagarjuna University.

The E-Souvenir containing various student and faculty articles on the Management subject was released through the hands of the guests of the programme.

The Principal of Aditya Degree College for women Ms. K. Karuna and the Principal of Aditya MBA college, Dr. G. Srinivasa Rao joined the Confluence – 2014 programme.

After the Inaugural session, several competitions like Geny Managers(HR), The Pace Setters (Marketing), Finkesto (Finance), The Doyen (Young Managers), Biznovator (Business Plan), Saino (Mr and Ms Confluence) and Xpresto (Spot Photography) were conducted for the participants. There after the events Calypso (Group Dance), Jalak, Fun games, Luck and Surprise were also conducted for the participating students. These cultural activities were much appreciated by the participants.

In the valedictory session, the president of the function Shri BEVL in his speech opined that the students could able to show their event managerial and leadership skills by arranging such a nice programme by converting themselves into event managers. He said that this event is really inspiring to all other University students. He appreciated the BBM students for conducting such a nice programme without taking rest. In order to identify themselves in the Global Market and to get exposure to practical conditions for the students these programmes are like centre stage he added.

The prize winners of the events were given away prizes by the Chief guest and the guest of honour and Special invitee were given with mementoes. Cultural programmes were conducted afterwards.

Laxmi, Kum. Aparna Sravanthi, Shri PVVS Prasad, Shri T. Tejeswar Rao and also the student organizers Mr. Harsha, Ms. Harshita, Mr.Vamsi, Mr. Amar etc. of Aditya Degree College BBM.
