Vanamahotsava week long celebrations from 1st July to 7th July@apsamp

Doctor’s day is observed in Aditya, Amp along with the inaugural day of the week long “Vanamahotsava Celebrations.

The opening day started with plantation of saplings by our Principal Smt.Jayalakshmi and Vice Principal Smt Vijaya Gouri, followed by the students in the campus.

Nature pledge was taken by everyone. Students presented a skit on “Chipko Movement” depicting the significance of trees and protection of environment. Some facts about trees which fulfill our needs were given. Query questions were asked about the facts given to test the students awareness about nature. Prizes were also given to the winners.

The celebrations are aimed with purposeful and thematic presentation on conserving nature.
