Van Mahotsav Week Celebrations @ Aditya school, Narsapur

Van Mahotsav, annual tree-planting festival, is being celebrated in India from July 1st to 7th by planting new tree saplings.

With the lofty purpose of saving mother earth – Aditya school, Narsapur students, planted saplings in the school campus.

Teachers of biology department to create awareness among the students about benefits of protection of trees and the harm caused by the cutting down of trees, they have presented a power point presentation.

Mr.S.V.Raghava Reddy, Director stressed the need for tree plantation and suggested students to plant at-least one sapling on their birthday. In this connection an activity on “Importance of Plants” was conducted and prizes are distributed by the principal Mrs.B.Supraja Rani.
