CELEBRATIONS OF GURU PURNIMA APSAMP2 @ GOLLAGUDEM

Gururbrahmaa gururvishnuh gururdevo Maheswarah |
Guruh-saakshaat parambrahma tasmai shrigurave namah ||

The celebration is marked by ritualistic respect to the guru, Guru Puja.

“Yasya deve para bhaktir yatha deve tatha gurau
Tasyaite kathitaa hi arthaaha prakashante mahatmanaha”

This means, Guru to be worshipped in the same manner as the deity – God, to attain all there is to attain on the path of God-realization.

On  this  day,  the importance  of  Veda Vyasa and cultural performance  was  organized by  Aditya Talent School – Gollagudem. The event of the programme started with garlanding the portrait  of  Vyasa  Maharishi  followed by chanting  a  few  slokas. The role of Guru in  moulding  the personality of   a  child  was conveyed to the students  in the form  of  a speech   by one of the Telugu staff .

The  students of primary classes performed  a skit on  Ekalavya  giving the importance of  Guru.

Later  the  teachers  showered everyone with their most auspicious divine blessings. The Vice Principal concluded the programme  that Guru is one person who removes the darkness in a child and tries to polish the brighter side in him.
