Students  of Aditya Degree College for Women, Kakinada led door-to-door campaining for an Eco-Friendly Ganeshotasav and made the public aware of the impact of plaster of Paris idols and non biodegradable products on the environment. They urged the house holds to promote the usage of clay idols.

Academic co-ordinator of Aditya Degree & P.G Colleges Mr. B.E.V.L. Naidu  Congratulated the entire team for their great initiative. He said “the need of the hour is to contributed in every possible manner to conserve the environment and ensure that we are able to maintain the natural resources”.

Principal of Aditya Degree College for Women stressed the need for the usage of natural, biodegradable material so that after immersion the idols does not pollute water and surroundings. She wished each and every one an Eco-Friendly Ganesh Chaturthi.

The campaign is led by NSS Students under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers Ms.Lakshmi Bhuvana and Mr.M/Subrahamanyam.
