JANAGANAMANA CELEBRATIONS

                Students of Aditya Degree College for Women Kakinada excelled in various competitions conducted on account of completion of 100 years of the National Song Janaganamana written by Rabindranath Tagore. The competitions were organized by Alluri Sita Rama Raju Memorial Cultural Institute.

On Thursday students took out a rally in the streets of Kakinada with the slogan “Bharata Mata ki Jai” along with the students of other colleges up to Raja tank and paid tributes to the Bharatmata statue installed there. Later at the programme held at suryakala mandir students who have participated in various events are distributed prizes by distinguished dignitaries.

Students of Aditya Degree College for Women secured several prizes in various events. In the elocution competition Miss. Sreha of II B.Com got 2^nd prize, Miss. Prameela of III B.sc got consolation prize, in essay writing competition Miss. Madhavi of 3^rd B.Sc got 3^rd prize, in patriotic songs (group) competition Miss. Sai Lavanya, Miss.Kavya and Miss. Divya bagged 2^nd prize, in patriotic songs (solo) competition Miss. Devi Vishalakshi of I B.com got consolation prize.

Congratulating the winners at the meeting held at the college, the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree & P.G colleges Mr. B.E.V.L.Naidu said that it is duty of every individual to know the relevance of the historic song which reflects the immense power Indian’s unity in Diversity.

The Secretary Mr. N.Krishna Deepak Reddy and the Director Mrs. N.Suguna Reddy of Aditya Educational Institutions congratulated all the participents.

Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Karuna, Principal of Aditya Degree College for Women has said that it the responsibility of each and every individual to uphold the unity and integrity of our country.
