A State Level Chemistry Event was conducted by the Department of Chemistry, Aditya Degree College, Gopalapatnam on the 6^th of February, 2017. Dr. A Mary Uma Bala garu, HOD, Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry was kind enough to be the Chief Guest of the event. Shri. D Rama Raju, Dy. Manager (Chem), Water System, Design & Engg. Dept, Vizag Steel Plant was the Guest of Honour of the event. 200 students from 15 Degree Colleges from various places of the State, enthusiastically participated in the different competitions conducted at the event. Competitions like P.P.T, Poster Presentation, Quiz and Puzzle were conducted.

It was a nice opportunity for all the students to present their learning of the subject of chemistry in front of everyone. Students shared their ideas, knowledge and joy with each other. The event ended with the thrill of the cultural programmes and the contentment of valuable and memorable experience. Over all, the programme stood as a grand success with a sense of satisfactions and happiness in everyone.

Message of the Chief Guest:

Chief Guest of the function, Dr. A Mary Uma Bala garu was very sweet with the audience. She spoke about how we use Chemistry from the start of the day to the end of day, in our day-to-day life. She also told students about the scope of Chemistry in academics, employment and research. She encouraged and motivated all the students to learn their subject with interest and love.

Message of the Guest of Honour:

Guest of Honour of the function Shri. D. Rama Raju garu was very friendly with the audience. Young, energetic and dynamic personality of the Guest of Honour was very influential for all the students. He recollected his experience of writing Aditya Talent Test as a school student and said that it inspired him to join good colleges and study well. He has a high regard for our college. He also informed chemistry students about the opportunities available at Vizag Steel Plant. He inspired every one to study well and scale great heights in life.

Principal, Aditya Degree College, Gopalapatnam expressed his happiness of witnessing Chemarena-2K17 being conducted so well. He motivated and encouraged all the students to exceed in their academics. He wished that all the student would have a bright future ahead.
