LIBRARIAN DAY CELEBRATIONS @ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

LIBRARIAN DAY was grandly celebrated at Aditya Degree College, Lakshminarayana nagar, Kakinada.

 Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Chief Guest of this program told that the Father of Library Dr.S.R.Ranganaadhan’s birthday is celebrated as Librarians Day. The opinion of a Poet is “I put my life time effort, lost strength of spine, decreased vision to write a book”, Books are protected in library for utilization of generations. Library is Treasure of Knowledge. Information is protected by Library forever. He offered a garland to the photo of Dr.S.R.Ranganaadhan.

 On this occasion SVR Prabhakar, Chief Librarian said that Dr.S.R.Ranganaadhan analyzed and done everything for the enhancement of Library.  He wrote number of books and encouraged new poets. He proposed five laws of Library Science for maintenance of Library perfectly. He also opined that Library is a ladder between one generation to other.

Many competitions were held for the students on this occasion. Prizes & appreciation Certificates were distributed to the winners in the competitions by Chief Guest.

 Sri N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman Aditya Colleges, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana , Vice-Principal, SVR Prabhakar, Chief Librarian, Librarians Sri N.Reddy, Smt Manjularani, Sri Polarao, Smt Sirisha and students were participated on this occasion.
