ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP, TEAM SELECTIONS -2017-18 VALEDICTORY FUNCTION @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS  (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP, TEAM SELECTIONS VALEDICTORY FUNCTION held at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada said by Academic Co-ordinator Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Aditya Degree & P.G.Courses.

On this Valedictory function Sri Naidu appreciated the champions. He also expected that CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) selected Team must become champions in South Zone level on behalf of AKNU. Dr.A.Satyanarayana, Special Guest, AKNU Physical Education Assistant Director and Sports Board Secretary told that the selected team will play in Anna & Savitha University at Tamil Nadu in South Zone competitions. Sri K.Padmanabham, Chief Guest, President of East Godavari District Olympic Association and Adikavi Nannya University Sports Board Member told that students should aspire their minds to achieve Olympic Medals and should be winners at All India Level. Dr.A.Satyanarayana, Sports Board Secretary announced the selected team of South Zone.

In AKNU Inter Collegiate CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) Championship competitions students (MENS) from P.R. College placed first, Adikavi Nannaya University, second, S.K.V.T Degree College, third, S.K.B.R College, in fourth.

In AKNU Inter Collegiate CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) Championship competitions students (WOMENS) from S.K.S.D Women Degree College placed first, Sir C.R.R College, second, V.S.M  Degree College, third, S.M.B.T.A.V & S.N Degree College, in fourth.

125 Students from 26 Colleges participated in ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP (2017-18). In this Selection process Sri G.V.Kumar, arbiter, Sri G.Pavan Kumar Raju, Physical Director,  B.V.R.I.C.E College, Bhimavaram, Sri I.Baburao, Physical Director, Rajahmundry Arts College, Smt T.Kalyani, Physical Director, Govt.Degree College, Tanuku, Sri Jayakumar, Physical Director, Y.N.College, Narsapur acted as Empires.

 On this occasion Sri.N.Sesha Reddy, Aditya Institutions Chairman congratulated the participants of different Colleges. Sri.Ch.V.V.Satynarayana, Vice-Principal, Aditya Degree College. Dr.Sparjan Raju, Physical Director, R.M.C, Sri S.V.V.L.G Varma, Physical Director, Ideal College, Sri.P.Srinu, Sri Ramaraju (Physical Directors) Aditya Degree College and players participated.
