ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP, TEAM SELECTIONS – 2017-18 INAUGURAL PROGRAM @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

Adikavi Nannaya University INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS   (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP, TEAM SELECTIONS – 2017-18  Great Inaugural Program is conducted at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada said by Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Convener, INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) and Aditya Degree & P.G.Colleges Academic Co-ordinator.

This competition is started with prayer song. Sri.N.Suguna Reddy, Director, Aditya group of Educational institutions said that it’s a great honour to our College for becoming a platform for INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP, TEAM SELECTIONS. She also said that Aditya Educational Institutions give priority to Sports and encourage players.

Sri Y.D.Ramarao, Special Guest, President of Andhra Pradesh Chess Association, Chairman of East Godavari Indian Red Cross Society told that AKNU will always give importance and encourage players and sports. Players are eligible for some Government jobs by the certificates (Sports quota). He also opined that students must aim to achieve Olympic medals and Sports championship should be their life achievement.

B.E.V.L Naidu Convener of this event said that physical education must be a part of Education of every student. He thanked to Prof.Muthyala Naidu, AKNU Vice –Chancellor, Dr.A.Satyanarayana, Secretary, Sports Board, University Sports Authorities for giving opportunity to conduct INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP, TEAM SELECTIONS in Aditya Degree College. The Event is started in the presence of President and Chief Guests.

125 Students from 26 Colleges participated in ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGIATE CHESS (MEN & WOMEN) CHAMPIONSHIP (2017-18). In this competition Sri G.Pavan Kumar Raju, Physical Director,  B.V.R.I.C.E College, Bhimavaram, Sri I.Baburao, Physical Director, Rajahmundry Arts College, Smt T.Kalyani, Physical Director, Govt.Degree College, Tanuku, Sri Jayakumar, Physical Director, Y.N.College, Narsapur acted as Empires.

 On this occasion Sri.N.Sesha Reddy, Aditya Institutions Chairman congratulated the participants of different Colleges. Sri.Ch.V.V.Satynarayana, Vice-Principal, Aditya Degree College. Dr.Sparjan Raju, Physical Director, R.M.C, Sri S.V.V.L.G Varma, Physical Director, Ideal College, Sri.P.Srinu, Sri Ramaraju (Physical Directors) Aditya Degree College and players participated.
