Industrial visit by Aditya Degree College Second year BBM students to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant

            The second year BBM students of Aditya Degree College went for industrial visit to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG colleges Shri BEVL Naidu flagged off the industrial visit bus and opined that the industrial visits are having great importance and Aditya Degree College will be on the top to arrange these visits regularly. He said that the students are always encouraged to visit the industries to get exposure to the industrial conditions. He also informed that the second year BBM students went to visit Visakhapatnam Steel Plant at Vizag. He told the students to learn the management processes at the industry.

The Secretary of Aditya Educational institutions, Shri N.K. Deepak Reddy opined the BBM course at Aditya Degree College is named as ‘Professional’ and as a matter of fact, these industrial visits will give the real time experience for the students he added. He also said that the students will get exposure towards the items to be used to make a product, the product processing, the machinery used to make the product, package process and the total man power utilization in the industrial processes and he finally added that this exposure will bring a change in the attitude as the approach will be from class room to the research field.  He also appreciated the representatives of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Shri Jaya Prakash and Shri Nagesh Kumar Soli for the cooperation extended to the students and for explaining the procedure of the industry.

The students who went to the industrial visit expressed their happiness by saying that the Aditya Degree College management is not only encouraging them to visit various industries but also helping them in organizing various management events and also encouraging them to run a business magazine called ‘Business Beacon’. They said they are happy because their interests are being taken into consideration.

The faculty member of Commerce and Management department Shri  G. Chandrasekhar and the Physical Director Shri Ramaraju accompanied the students during the visit and the vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash organized this programme.
