About Workshop
Department of Forensic Science Aditya Degree College, Surampalem is pleased to present its highly beneficial forensic training workshop on Crime Scene Management that provides the true forensic methods, & techniques. Applications on how to actually process the Scene of Crime, Handling, Lifting, Collection & Preservation of Physical Evidence as per the standards of Forensic Science. The main theme of the workshop is Connecting Crime to the Culprit. We feel Privileged in inviting you to this Workshop.

Dept. of Forensic Science, Aditya Degree College, Aditya Educational Institutions, Surampalem.

Objectives of the Workshop:

  • To promote the awareness and necessity of Crime Scene Management during the investigation process.
  • To understand the importance of the protection of the crime scene and physical evidence.
  • To assess the need for proper Handling, collection and packaging of physical evidences.
  • To facilitate the effective means of recording the chain of custody.
  • To appreciate the need for public assistance and training for the protection of the Crime Scene.
  • To be familiar with recent technologies used for the detection and collection of evidences.

Hands on Demonstration/ Training:

  • Simulated Crime Scene visit 
  • Application of different search methods for physical evidence at the S.O.C.
  • Identification of Physical Evidence at Crime Scene
  • Techniques of sketching the crime scene and documentation.
  • Handling, Lifting and Packing of physical evidence.

  1. Dates of Workshop: 21st and 22nd December 2018
  2. Registration starts from 15th November 2018.
  3. Last date for registration is 10th December 2018.
  4. Last date for Submission of travel plan: 15th December 2018.
