‘ Books the mirrors of knowledge’ is the Theme of IVstd. The importance of inculcating reading habit among the Children was made well aware. Diverse books on various topics and famous authors works were introduced. Even the essence of holy books like The Gita, Bible and Quran was discussed. Topics like Drama, Biographies, Fiction, Comics, News Paper and Magazines were well presented.
Dance based on National Integration, Skit on Panchatantra mesmerised the audience. Abacus Activity and P.E Activity were well received. Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice, My Experiments with Truth by Mahatma Gandhi, Tales of Panchatantra and other famous authors highlighted the importance of Reading and enriching knowledge.
The Principal Smt. Jayalakshmi stressed that reading habits, visiting library and writing reviews provide a gateway to knowledge.
