“NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY” IN ADITYA
Aditya degree colleges, Rajahmundry observed National Educational Day on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of our first educational minister, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.
On this occasion, the Director of Aditya Educational Institutions Mr. S. P. Gangi Reddy said Abul kalam served as the first educational minister in Indian republic for 10 years. He served the nation with great dignity and loyalty. He also took initiative for establishing University Grants Commission(U.G.C), which later played a key role developing educational system in India.
State N. S. S. Youth Officer, R. Gopal Krishna , also the chief guest of the occasion, said that ” our nation is very proud of Azad, as he is great freedom fighter, also he served nation as a journalist, poet and also acted as president of AICC”.
State N.S.S. Liaison officer, Sri. Rama chandara Rao, visited as a special guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said that ” Every education organization in India must celebrate national education day in the memory of Abul Kalam birth anniversary. He also said that, Abul kalam tried hi best to establish friendly relationship between hindu and muslim societies.”
On this occasion, Aditya facilitated Dr. Paul, Andhra University N.S.S co-ordinator, for receiving “INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL AWARD” for his service in N.S.S. Speaking on the occasion, he said “Eventhough Abul Kalam is borned in Mecca, he served the nation as a true citizen”.
