BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE , ASILMETTA

NSS Volunteers of Aditya Degree College, Asilmetta conducted Blood donation camp in the college campus with the help of A.S.Raja Blood Bank on 12-11-2013 from 10 A.M to 2 P.M,  according to Sri Varadarajan, Principal.

District health officer Dr. R. Ramesh was present as chief guest for the programme.

Dr. Ramesh in the course of his address stated that blood in deposits had been coming down day by day for several reasons. He advised the students to come forward to donate blood voluntarily. They should note that service to mankind is service to God.

Mr. Varadarajan, Principal reiterated that today’s youth are tomorrow citizens. If one person donates blood, it amounts to giving life to three people who are in danger. He congratulated the donors of blood.

Sri K. Venkayya, Academic Dean, K. Mahesh and P. Durga Prasad NSS program officers and 150 students from the college actively participated in the auspious occasion.
