ANTI POLLUTION DAY OBSERVED @ ADITYA NARSAPUR

Anti Pollution Day is observed by the young Adityans of  Narsapur today (03.12.2013). It has been 29 years since the disastrous Bhopal Gas Tragedy occurred. Many people lost their lives and rest of them left with many disabilities and suffered with its harmful effects. We observe this day as Anti Pollution Day in order to bring awareness in our future citizens  regarding these sort of accidents and havoc caused due to the human negligence.

As a part of this in the morning assembly we remembered the lost souls of that tragedy and disabled people. Video footage of Bhopal gas tragedy is shown to the students of class 3 to 9 and an oral quiz is conducted to them basing on the student standards.

Science Department teachers Sri M. Rajesh and Smt. B. Durga actively took part in the collection of videos and conduction of oral quiz. The main purpose of observing this Anti Pollution Day is justified when the student representatives expressed for the evolution of the technology which decides making people lives comfortable, protect our environment also.

The winners of this oral quiz were given prizes. The Director, Sri S.V. Raghava Reddy appreciated the Principal Smt. B. Supraja Rani for her guidance, teachers for their involvement, and students for their participation.
