AURA – 2013 organized by Aditya Degree College, Kakinada

            AURA – 2013 the commerce students fest of Aditya Degree Colleges of Kakinada was organized at Bhavani Function hall, near Balaji Cheruvu.

The Chief guest of the function, the Vice Chancellor of Adi Kavi Nannayya University, Prof. P. George Victor gave details about the Chinese goods which are available for cheap across the world and he opined that the commerce specialist of China might have suggested special plans for reducing the price of the goods. He also opined that the transportation cost is very less in China, which makes the goods’ cost further reduced. He gave a call to the Indian commerce specialists to think differently and to keep the profit earning strategies aside and gave a call to look forward for service sector to touch the business strategies of China. He also appreciated by saying that Aditya Educational Institutions have got special regard from Adi Kavi Nannayya University. On this eve, he presented mementoes and certificates to the academic toppers of Aditya Degree Colleges, Mr. Ramu, Ms. Hymavathi, Ms. N.K Priyanka and Ms. Bhargavi.

The guest of honour Shri NK Deepak Reddy on this eve, recollected a real time situation which he encountered while he was traveling and said that a normal student could able to become a CEO of a company as he was much interested in playing with his I-pad. When he was asked what was might be the driving force, the student responded saying that his father wouldn’t have allowed him to play with an I-pad if he did not invented a mobile app. Secretary, Shri Deepak Reddy gave a call to the students to invent something related to their taste and  to touch great heights in life. He appreciated the efforts of Commerce department of Aditya Degree College for arranging the AURA – 2013 in such a great way.

On this occasion, the president of the function and Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges, Shri BEVL Naidu opined that any company or firm cannot see the future without the commerce specialist. He also said that inorder to share the skill sets of the B.Com students with other students of other degree colleges, the AURA – 2013 has been arranged.

The Vice Chancellor of Adi Kavi Nannayya University Prof George Victor on this eve, released the AURA – 2013 souvenir and on this occasion the Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Shri NK Deepak Reddy handed over a memento to the Vice Chancellor of Adi Kavi Nannya University, Prof.  P. George Victor on behalf of Aditya Educational Institutions.

Commerce Department of Aditya Degree College, AURA – 2013 conducted several events named Grandiloquens (Elocution), Fusillade (Quiz), Visuals (Power Point presentations), Creativity (Picture description), Contravallation (Add making), Word twist (Anagram), Brilliance (Quote description), Oration (Debate), Volubility (JAM), Magniloquens (Group discussion) and the winners were given with prizes and certificates. The rolling shield was awarded to V.S. Lakshmi Women college, Kakinada.

AURA – 2013 Valedictory function was presided over by the Academic Coordinator Shri BEVL Naidu. On this eve, he opined that the commerce students should get the practical exposure to the events. So, by arranging the events like AURA -2 013 the managerial capacities of and the organizing skills will come out and it will be quiet useful for their future. Students on their own are conducting this programme which will give them realtime experience he added. He also gave details regarding the Campus Recruitment Training given to the students of Aditya Degree College without disturbing the university curriculum. He gave details regarding the AURA – 2013 and said that this state level event AURA – 2013 a total of 200 students participated from 13 colleges across the state. B.Com (Computers) course is being run prestigiously at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. He also hope that these programmes becomes guidelines for others to follow in near future.

The programme was also participated by the Principal, Aditya Degree College for women, Smt. K. Karuna, the faculty member Shri GVR Murthy, the head of the department of Commerce Shri SAG Ansar Ali, the student organizers of AURA – 2013 Mr. Kumar babu, Ms. Sriha, Mr. Venkatesh, Mr. Ramu and the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash.
