Birth Day Celebrations of Ramanujan in Aditya Degree College for Women, Kakinada.

Sri B.E.V.L. Naidu, Co-ordinator of Aditya Degree Colleges and P.G. colleges informed that celebrations of Mathematical Science were conducted on 22nd December, 2013 in Aditya Degree College for women, Sambamurty Nagar, Kakinada.
In the celebrations of Mathematical science, good number of students participated. To unearth the latent talent of the students many competitions were conducted. In the competition of quiz, Power Point presentation and talent test the students exhibited their talent.
As president of the meeting Sri Naidu in his speech recollected the contribution made by ancient Indian Vedic Scholars to Mathematical Science . He further added that as long as Mathematical Science dominated the scientific world the services made by Aryabhata and the eminent contemporary Mathematician Ramanujan will be ever remembered and they should be treated as mentors. After completing UG course if the students prosecute their study in Mathematics at PG Level they will get ample employment opportunities. Principal Smt. K. Karuna advised the students to undertake Research work on new concepts to mould them selves as scientists. Principal Smt. Karuna presented the mementos to the successful students in the competitions. In the Quiz programme conducted K.K. Soumya, P. Jhansi, MSN Sudheshna, K. Swarupa, D. Rajeswari, A. Aparna Devi, D. Vanaja, MSN. Hanusha got the prizes. Smt N. Suguna, Director of Aditya Educational Institutions congratulated the winners in the competitions. Aditya degree College Mathematics head of the Department Sri U.Mallikarjuna Rao, Lecturers Sri Ramachandrudu, Sri Satyanarayana, Sree Bhashyam, Kum. Krishna Kumari and other students participaed in the celebrations.
