SANKRANTHI CELEBRATION@ADITYA SCHOOL SRINAGAR
Sankranthi celebrations were held in large scale at Aditya School campus on10-01-14. Smt.N.Lakshmi Rajyam secretary Aditya group of institutions Smt. N.Sruthi Reddy, director Aditya Schools and Smt. N.Suguna declare open the celebrations. All the students were present in traditional dress to add colour and fervour to the festive atmosphere.
Smt. N.Saradha, principal of Ideal college kakinada and Smt. R.Yashoda, P.E.T of Navabharath School inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
In connection with this celebrations different competition for parents were conducted in the school. Rangoli, pot painting, Clay moulding lamp decoration, flowers decorations, nails Art, Mehandi, etc… had been conducted and the winners were given prizes.
Under the able guidance of Principal Smt. M. Ramani and Vice Principal Smt. N. Sridevi Reddy many traditional activities such as bonfire, Traditional songs , kabadi, Marble game etc had been conducted. Glimpses of festival scenes enacted by the students on the dais stood as special attraction of the day.
Speaking on the occasion Director Smt. N. Sruthi Reddy said that the main aim of conducting this celebrations was to enlighten the students as well as parents to our customs and traditions which had been forgotten and wished everyone Happy and Prosperous Sankranthi.
