Preparing for examinations and the thought of competition in this highly competitive World can be very stressful. Students are judged based on their performance in the examinations which adds to the pressure. But, taking stress could affect your performance negatively. Here are a couple tips to de-stress yourself from the stress of examinations.

    Positive Distractions

Play Games or sports when you want to take a break from studying. Sports increases your concentration. It can be sports or movies or solving puzzles etc. You should keep your mind relaxed to grasp more information.

    Time Management

Make a time-table for all the subjects. Do not study any subject or topic randomly. Following a strict schedule to cover all the important topics would increase your confidence for your examinations.

    Evaluate your progress

We are highly visual. We remember what we see and what we see encourages us. So, use charts, markers and even post-it notes to keep track of your progress related to every subject

    Remunerate Yourself

It is critical to keep yourself encouraged for working without stopping for even a minute. Continuously remunerate yourself with something you appreciate after every study session.

    Sleep Well

A tired mind would not help you to focus. It will require greater attention and energy to absorb information when you are exhausted. Make sure that you are not compromising on your 8 hours of sleep to make up for laziness during the day.

    Remain Positive

Examinations are not the end of life. There are many to go on. The right attitude can help you to face them. Nothing can substitute hard work and preparation. So believe in hard work and put away your examination worries.
