Careers after CBSE Class12 in Accountancy
Every Year Approximately 90 Lakh students are writing class 12 board exams in India. There are enormous options available for students after class 12 but there is a limitation in the technical subjects. But here we will discuss the most common and direct lines of higher study options related to the subjects and corresponding job opportunities.
The most direct line for students studying accountancy is pursuing bachelors in accounts from the university. And this is the basic qualification for students to hope for accountant job. An accountant is a technical subject and it is required for Chartered Accountant. Students can also choose ICWA or CFA as an extension of their bachelor’s degree in accountancy to get roles of auditors and analysts.
Chartered Accountants:
Chartered Accountancy is a certification which is offered by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or ICAI. To become Chartered Accountancy certification students need to qualify for foundation course and after clearing the Foundation course students have to clear the Inter Examination and then the Final examination. However, Students can choose this course after completing theirs under graduation in commerce. Graduates of commerce have an option of starting directly with the Intermediate course of CA.
Cost Accountants:
This is the other course in Accountancy and Certified by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. This course is similar to that of CA and the difference is between the work. To become a certified CMA, a student must pass the foundation, intermediate and final courses offered by ICWA or Institute of Cost and Works Accountant, now referred to as ICAI.
