JEE Main Exam on April 8, 2018
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the dates for offline Entrance examination JEE Main 2018. As per the reports offline test will be held on April 8, 2018. Furthermore, Dates for a computer-based test is not yet been announced, but it is expected to be scheduled on the mid of April 2018.
The JEE Main 2018 paper 1 for B.E/B.Tech will be conducted in both online and offline but Paper II for B.Arch/B.Plan will be conducted only in online. Noteworthy that online registration for JEE Main 2018 is expected to begin from the First week of December 2017 and lasts until end of the January 2018.
JEE Main 2018 examination will be conducted in 104 cities in India and 9 foreign cities. So any student who passed in class 12 is eligible to appear for JEE Main 2018.[wpadm-login]
After qualifying the JEE Main exam candidates are selected for JEE Advance based on their performance and eligibility criteria. The JEE-Advance will be conducted on May 20, 2018. “The entire JEE-Advance, 2018 examination will be conducted in a fully computer-based test mode,” the IITs had said announcing the date for the test recently.
The difference between JEE Main and JEE Advance is to getting a top JEE-Main rank makes you eligible for a seat in NITs and IIITs while a good performance in JEE-Advanced will fetch you an IIT.
