Finding it difficult to manage JEE Mains and Board exams? Edignite is here to help you.

Preparing for JEE Mains is often a difficult task to accomplish, especially for those who are simultaneously preparing for their board exams. Almost all exams have a cut-off on the 12th board percentage, so board exams can’t be underestimated. However, most of the board exams start in March while JEE Mains starts in April which means you have to prepare for your JEE Mains at a time.

Edignite offers some tips, which you should follow before you get started with JEE Mains and board exams.

7 Tips to balance between JEE Mains and Board Exams

Here are the ways to handle the pressure of dealing with both board exams and JEE mains 2022 exams.

    1. Make a plan and stick to it

When you have a task like preparing for two equally important exams(JEE + board exams) at the same time, there might be a fear of missing out on something which is important and crucial. So, prepare a proper schedule and a detailed plan which will not just help you focus but will also enable you to revise the entire syllabus in one go.

    2. Focus on theory and concepts

Make sure you focus on concepts as well as the theory because JEE Main is about practicing and board exams are about theory. For JEE Mains 2022, learn applications of theory in understanding concepts and solving numerical. Don’t skip out any theory portion while preparing for board exams you will be tested on theory.

    3. Complete the Syllabus

You might be leaving certain topics because they are too easy or too difficult or they consume more time. But, it’s not the right way. Start your preparation early and go through all the topics so that you will have more time to complete the syllabus. Edignite suggests that completing the syllabus in time will boost your confidence that help you ace your board exams and JEE Mains.

    4. Keep revising thoroughly

Revision is the key to scoring good marks in board exams as well as remembering all the formulae to attempt JEE Mains. A thorough revision of subjects sooner helps you attempt all the questions with no stress and anxiety.

    5. Don’t compare

Avoid comparison between your board exam preparation and JEE Mains 2022 preparation. Utilize your time while preparing for board exams to optimize your JEE Main preparation but do not compare these exams at every step, which results in confusion.

    6. Take up mock tests

Preparing for exams with the help of mock tests will also help you focus, understand your weak points and improve your studying methodology as well. Edignite provides you a number of test series that you can make use of for both board exams and JEE Mains preparation.

    7. Practice previous question papers

Practicing old questions papers of JEE Mains and board exams will help you polish concepts that you are not confined to. This also helps identify the number of choices provided and work out the time required for each question.

Edignite suggests not dragging your preparation till the last date of your final exams. All the best!
