Our department is doing extremely well with regards to the infrastructure and teaching methods. The teaching staff of my department comprises a group of successful people with highly experienced. Faculty-to-student ratio, which encourages close contact between students and their faculty mentors. This allows the faculty to give personalized attention to the academic progress of students. The subject has became as an essential part of the curriculum along with computer science. Besides, the department has been constantly reviewing the contents of the theory and practical (Laboratory) syllabus.

We strive hard to cultivate a fair environment where our students can thrive as they advance new chemical frontiers through research, innovation, collaboration Chemistry is a very collaborative undertaking and as a student in the Chemistry Program, you will learn to think critically with other scientists from all fields. You will create new molecules and understand the theory behind doing so. Our graduates find great careers in widely varying fields from energy to medicine to teaching and learning and beyond. They can achieve placements in pharmaceutical companies as production administrators and quality control analysts. They can serve medical representatives as well to mediate between doctors and medical market. The Department prides itself on preparing the students for creative careers in industries academia and Government agencies.
 

 K. Murali Mohan Rao Garu is an accomplished educator and academic leader with over 18 years of diverse experience in higher education. He holds postgraduate and professional degrees including M.Sc and B.Ed, and is currently heading the Department of Chemistry and Life Sciences, where he brings a strategic and student-centric approach to departmental leadership.
He is known for his dynamic teaching style and active engagement in enhancing the academic ecosystem. Over the years, he has delivered numerous invited talks and training sessions at various degree colleges, sharing his insights on emerging trends in higher education and technology-enhanced learning.
Beyond classroom teaching,k. Murali Mohan Rao has contributed significantly to institutional development, serving as a member of several key committees and taking active roles in organizing seminars, workshops, and academic events.
