Rules and Regulations
- The library is kept open on all working days from 8.00 A.M to 6.00 P.M
- Members are prohibited from bringing personal belongings and library materials issued to them inside the library. Printed materials (books, magazines) are not allowed into the library.
- Members shall observe silence in the library & reading halls. Member s shall not engage in conversation in any part of the library and cause disturbance to any other readers.

- An overdue charge of Rs. 1.00 per day per volume will be collected for late return of the books/ magazines borrowed by them.
- In case of loss of book/magazine by the borrower he/she shall either replace the book with the same edition or latest edition. If the replacement is not done within 15 days, the defaulter will be charged "Three times the cost of the book/ magazine".
- Members shall not write upon, damage or mark in any book, magazine and news paper belonging to the library.
- In case a book is damaged or pages are missing at the time of borrowing a book, the member should bring this to the notice/ record of the librarian before borrowing the book.
- Otherwise he/ she shall be held responsible for these damages noticed at the time of return.
- Library borrower card is not transferable.
- The members are responsible for the library borrower card issued to them. Loss of library borrower card should be reported to the librarian immediately. Duplicate library borrower card will be issued on payment of Rs. 50/- after two weeks time from the date of application.
- Members are responsible for any damage caused by them to the books or any other property belonging to the library and shall be required to pay the penalty imposed upon them by the librarian.
- Members leaving the library should stop at the exit so that the materials borrowed or taken out of the library by them may be checked.
- The librarian reserves the right to suspend the membership if any member is found misbehaving, abusing the library staff or behaving in an indecent manner.
