Anti-Ragging Committee - Vision
  • To  prevent any physical or mental torture or any disorderly conduct towards any student causing apprehension,dread , humiliation,or agitation in him or her.
  • To maintain a ragging free campus
  • To create awareness about ragging and ensure a student friendly environment at all times.
Objectives
The primary aim of Anti-Ragging Committee is:
  • To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity. To keep a continues watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and re-occurrence. 
  • To promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.
Functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee are:
  • It is the duty of the anti ragging committee to keep a vigil and stop the incidences of ragging, if any happening in the place of students aggregation including classrooms, canteens, buses, grounds and hostels etc…
  • To educate the students at large by adapting various means about the menace of ragging and related punishments there to.
  • To orient students and mould their personality for a better calls 
  • To work in consonance and guidance of anti ragging committee.
The Role of the Anti-Ragging Committee Coordinator
  • The role of the coordinator of the ARC is crucial in ensuring the effective functioning of all the members.
  • The coordinator of the ARC may be a senior/competent person with experience and exposure in solving ragging issues in the institution.
  • He/She may be a full-time functionary or, to start with, he/she may be a senior academic /administrator entrusted with the ARC as an additional responsibility.
  • To ensure compliance if the provisions of these regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging.
  • To monitor and to oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Committee squad in prevention of ragging in the institution. 
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY MEMBERS
  • To coordinate the ARC initiatives to ensure ragging free atmosphere in the institution.
  • To make surprise rights on hostels and other places vulnerable to incidence and having the potential for ragging and shall be empowered to inspect such places.
  • To conduct an on the spot enquiry into any incidents of ragging referred to it by the head of the institution or any member of the faculty or any student or any parent / guardian.
The Anti-Ragging Committee shall have the following composition
  • Chairperson - Principal
  • Five Teachers - Member
  • Three Students - Member
  • One of the senior teachers as the Coordinator of the ARC
