Objectives
The primary aim of Grievance redressal committee is:

    The objective of the GRC is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute

  • Maintain the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Student-Student relationship and StudentStaff relationship etc
  • Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely, without any fear of being victimized.
  • Installation of Suggestion / complaint Box in the reception table in which the Students / staffs, who want to remain anonymous, may drop their grievances and their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration in the College.
  • Advising all staffs and students to be affectionate with each other and not to behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
Functions of grievance redressal committee:
  • To receive and review complaints from employees, in order to identify and analyze any issues or problems related to their job.
  • To investigate the complaint and take corrective action to resolve the issue.
  • To provide a fair and impartial decision and ensure that the employee's rights are respected.
  • . To ensure that all disciplinary actions are taken in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant labor laws.
  • To provide support to employees throughout the grievance redressal process.
Functions of grievance redressal committee members
  • Establish a complaint system: The grievance redressal committee should establish a complaint system that is accessible to all members of the organization. This system should enable individuals to submit their grievances in a secure and confidential manner
  • Investigate complaints: Once a complaint has been received, the committee should investigate it thoroughly. This includes gathering all relevant information, speaking to the parties involved, and interviewing witnesses.
  • . Facilitate a resolution: Once the committee has gathered all the necessary information, it should work with the parties involved to reach a resolution that is acceptable to both sides. It is important to ensure that the resolution is fair, reasonable, and equitable
  • . Monitor implementation of the resolution: After the resolution has been agreed upon, the committee should monitor its implementation to ensure that it is being followed. .
  • Report findings and recommendations: The committee should prepare a report of its findings and recommendations and present it to the organization's leadership. This report should include any proposed changes or actions that the organization should take in order to address the issue.
Roles And Responsibilities Of Faculty Member:
  • Plan and coordinate events: Coordinators are responsible for organizing and managing large events such as conferences, meetings, conventions and ceremonies. They plan the event from start to finish, including budgeting, selecting venues, developing a theme, securing speakers, selecting vendors and managing all aspects of the event.
  • Liaise with stakeholders: Coordinators act as the point of contact between event stakeholders such as sponsors, suppliers, and guests. They take the lead in negotiating contracts, resolving conflicts and ensuring all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcome..
  • Manage logistics: Coordinators are in charge of organizing the logistics of the event, such as transportation, catering, accommodations, security and staffing. They also oversee the setup and tear down of the event. .
  • Monitor event progress: Coordinators are responsible for monitoring the progress of the event and ensuring it runs smoothly. They act as troubleshooters and liaise with vendors to make sure all requirements are met .
  • Evaluate the event: After the event, coordinators evaluate the success of the event and determine areas for improvement. They also create post-event reports and analyze data to measure success .
Roles And Responsibilities Of Student Member :
  • Establish objectives and develop plans to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Monitor the progress of projects and assess their outcomes.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to procedures or processes.
  • Monitor event progress: Coordinators are responsible for monitoring the progress of the event and ensuring it runs smoothly. They act as troubleshooters and liaise with vendors to make sure all requirements are met .
  • Recommend strategies to manage and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare reports for the committee or other stakeholders about the progress of projects.
  • Evaluate project proposals and provide feedback.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to projects
Role Of Grievance Redressal Coordinator: :
  • Every Government establishment shall appoint a Grievance Redressal Officer for the purpose of section 19 and shall inform the Chief Commissioner or the State Commissioner, as the case may be, about the appointment of such officer.
  • Any person aggrieved with the non-compliance of the provisions of section 20, may file a complaint with the Grievance Redressal Officer, who shall investigate it and shall take up the matter with the establishment for corrective action.
  • The Grievance Redressal Officer shall maintain a register of complaints in the manner as may be prescribed by the Central Government, and every complaint shall be inquired within two weeks of its registration.
  • If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the action taken on his or her complaint, he or she may approach the District-Level Committee on disability.
The Grievance redressal committee shall have the following composition
  • Chairperson - Principal
  • Five Teachers - Member
  • Three Students - Member
  • One of the senior teachers as the Coordinator of the Grievance redressal committee: Coordinator
