The Forensic Science Department of Aditya Degree and PG College organized FORENSIC SCIENCISTRY 2023 to celebrate National Science Day on 28th February 2023.The venue chosen for the event was ACET Seminar hall, Aditya campus. It was a one-day event which was scheduled as follows:
Session 1: FORENSIC ART-O-WALL
The program commenced by Jyoti Prajwalna, the lamp lighting ceremony by 10.00 am followed by presidential address by Secretary Dr. N. Suguna Reddy. Ma’am focused that student should always have hunger for acquiring knowledge and the importance of the discipline of forensic science followed by speech of Principal Mr. Vilas Chavan. He gave a brief outline of the need for today’s program and the necessity for acquiring knowledge of the Advances of Forensic Science which followed the Guest of Honor, Mr. Phaneender B N and chief guest Dr. Ranjeet Singh addressing the gathering.
The proceedings of the program then moved onto the signing of MoU’s between
1.Aditya Degree & PG College and SIFS, Delhi.
2.Aditya Degree & PG College and Clue4Evidence, Bangalore
MoU’s highlighted the student internship, skill training as well as placement opportunities after the completion of the course.
Dr. Suguna Ma’am signed the MoU’s in his capacity as secretary Aditya Degree and PG College. After the MoU’S the distinguished guests for the program were honored with mementos and flowers followed by Vote of Thanks by Miss Sudeshna Bag HOD, Forensic.
The poster presentation session was inaugurated by the Chief Guest and Guest of honor by cutting the ribbon. The guests visited each creatively crafted poster by students and evaluated their presentations. The program ended by 12:35 and all dispersed for lunch.
Session 2: RISciTeL Talk
The 2nd session of the program started sharp at 1 :30 pm. In this session there were 2 guest lectures, the first guest Lecture was by Dr. Ranjeet Singh on Entrepreneurship in Forensics: Opportunities and Challenges. The following are the main points :
His speech was very inspiring and thought invoking for all student and staff.
The second guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Phaneender B.N. The focus of his lecture was on” TECHNO LEGAL ASPECTS OF WHO IS AN EXPERT” was an eye opening session on developing an investigative mind and investigating crimes with latest technology. The guest lecture was filled with case studies and posed plenty of questions to students invoking them to think critically.
The program finally came to prize distribution session were certificates and trophies were awarded to poster presentation winner. The event FORENSIC SCIENCISTRY 2023 came to an end by vote of thanks by Miss Ariya by 4.30 pm.
The audience dispersed after singing of National Anthem.
