“DOCTORATE DEGREE” AWARDED TO BIOTECHNOLOGY LECTURER ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE

Aditya Degree & P.G. Colleges Academic Co-ordinator, Sri B.E.V.L Naidu said that Sri G.Rajkumar, Biotechnology faculty of Aditya Degree College is honored by “Doctorate Degree” from Andhra University Life Sciences Department.

Prof.D.E.Babu, Biology Department, Principal of Andhra University Science & Technology told that “Doctorate Degree” is given to Sri G.Rajkumar for doing his “Research on Hydrocarbon Degrading Bacteria and their Taxonomic Status through Molecular Characterization – Indicator Species of Oil Contamination”.  He told that Biodiversity will get great affected by oil pollution. Bioremediation is a process that uses natural decomposers and plant enzymes to treat the contaminated water. Certain specific bacteria come of use when thinking of bioremediation of hydrocarbons present in oil and gasoline.
