On the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi, the students of Aditya Degree College, Gopalapatnam, have come forward with a noble initiative of preparing eco-friendly vinayaka idols. They prepared the idols with natural products like flour, fruits, mud, rice and vegetables. It is good sign of awareness and responsibility in the youth, the future of the nation in protecting the nature for the times ahead. Festivals are celebrated with grandeur, pomp and show in our country, which usher happiness into our lives. Every festivity not only must begin happily but also must end happily, without polluting Mother Earth and causing it took cry. Nature is a beautiful lap for mankind which always benefits and comforts human race. We are integral part of nature. We can’t separate ourselves from it and imagine our life. So, it is sensible to strike a bond of friendship with nature and strive hard not to pollute it but to protect it carefully so that it will certainly protect us and make us progress and prosper for a long time to come.
