Celebrating Childhood@apsamp2

November 14th is celebrated as children’s day as a tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru. The importance of the day is to make aware that children’s are the real heroes of future. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru once said, “The children of today will make India outshine with a better tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country.”. The Chief Guest  Dr.Suresh a Paediatrician and University Gold Medalist in Medicine   spoke about  the essence of  balancing the  physical, mental, spiritual, and economical emotions in children during their growth of childhood. It was a worthy message given by him to the gathering  about parenting and upbringing of a child. He also advised students to stay focused on the motto of their life.On this occasion the Primary Principal Mrs. Lakshmidevi said, Children are the most treasured possessions on earth. Childhood is always special for everyone. Innocent smile on their face conquers the heart of mankind. Children should remember Pundit Nehru’s sacrifices, contributions towards country, achievements  in international politics and peace efforts.
To build up Talent Generation we aslo celebrated by conducting various programs for students like QUEST-QUIZ PROGRAMME,JAM (ONE MINUTE TALK ) to improvise the speaking skills and artistic skills for the all the primary students. The IIT students were also involved in competetions like elocution, games n sports and artistic art. Other cultural programmes including national songs, patriotic songs, speeches were also organized. As a part of celebration, the tiny tots dressed like  Chacha Nehru, Jhnasi , Narendra Modi and few other national leaders. The role plays of Nehru’s family, the FOLK DANCE by IIT GIRLS & THE ENGLISH  SKIT by IIT BOYS of VIII were the main attraction and made the day full of fun. The program was concluded by distributing prizes to all the winners of various competitions. The IIT Principal Mr. Ramesh congratulated the winners.

As a part of charity we the Adityans – Gollagudem campus donated a sum of         Rs. 2500 (the fund collected from the Diwali stall) to Sri Kamakshi Devi Charitable Trust,  a Children’s Orphanage on this occasion by the hands of the chief guest.
