Ph.D awarded to Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada

            Ph.D was awarded to the Vice Principal of Aditya Degree College, Dr. A. Maniprakash. Giving this information, the Academic Coordinator of Aditya Degree and PG Colleges said that the staff members of Aditya Educational Institutions are always encouraged for higher education.  He told that on the research work conducted by Dr. A. Maniprakash on the topic  “A study on the impact of traffic pollution on the Health of roadside vendors in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India” made him receive this doctorate.

On this occasion the Ph.D awardee Dr. A. Maniprakash opined that due to heavy traffic on the city roads many health problems are increasing and in his Ph.D work shocking results were obtained on the impact of traffic pollution on road side vendors. Hyderabad city was taken as an example to explain about the increasing traffic pollution levels and their impact on the health of roadside vendors. He also told that the doctoral degree provided a very good opportunity to work on such an interesting topic where the study could able to prove that more than 65% of people who are working on roadsides are getting affected due to air pollution. On this occasion he requested the government to take some more precautions to improvise the health of roadside vendors by providing health cards etc., He also claimed that this is first of it’s kind of study on roadside vendors and air pollution in the country level. He thanked the Guide of Ph.D Dr. A.V.V.S. Swamy who is working as professor in Acharya Nagarjuna University.

The Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions Shri N.K. Deepak Reddy and the Director of Aditya Educational Institutions Smt. N. Suguna Reddy congratulated Dr. A. Maniprakash for the Ph.D award.

On this occasion, Dr. A. Maniprakash was given with a momento and a shawl by the Vice Chancellor of Adi Kavi Nannayya Prof. George Victor. Speaking on this occasion Prof. George Victor opined that quality research works like these should happen for the welfare of the mankind. He also gave a call to the students to get motivated by such research topics.
