A BRILLIANT STAR IN SKY SAFARI@apssri

Laksha International School organized a overnight deep Sky Gazing Camp on 16th Dec 2017 at their school campus. In association with Kolkata Astronomy center they arranged Naked Eye and Telescopic observation of deep sky objects, Constellations, Stars, Nebula, etc, for the students from grade 4 to 9. As a part of the programme they conducted a space craft model making competition for the students. In that N. Anand Chowdary (V std) of Aditya School, Srinagar  won 1st prize.He has been honoured with Gold Medal. Anand made a model rocket with in two hours. The school principal Smt. M. Ramani and Vice Principal Smt.N. Sridevi Reddy appreciated the creative brain of Anand Chowdari. Speaking on this occasion Director Smt. N. Sruthi Reddy said that participating in such programmes, children can develop their scientific temper and comprehensive thinking.
