‘VANAM – MANAM’ CELEBRATIONS @APSJKP

‘Vanamahotsav’ the day of Greenery is observed in a grand scale  at our school premises. All the students of Primary and High school participated actively in this environmental awareness program in connection with celebrating vanamahotsav week. Students planted plants at our premises, offered some plants to principal madam and showed their love and affection towards plants.

They took an oath that they would protect the environment, save the trees which reduces global warming . Students of IX class have showcased a valuable message in the form of a skit to bring awareness among the children regarding save trees and ban of plastic in our society.

Principal Smt.B.Supraja Rani interacted with the students, motivated, enlightened the significance of Vanamahotsav connected to the theme Vanam Manam. She asked the students to plant a sapling at their home, nurture it and see it grow bigger as it is the hope of our future. “Tree is a symbol for the Environment and when we plant a  tree we plant hope. So lets join our hands together to save our environment and our globe.”
