The humanitarian act of the small child K. Manusri studying III class in Aditya School, Srinagar made the entire school children thought – provoking. Manusri extended her tiny hands for the victims of Kerala State which was hit by heavy rains and floods. She forewent her birthday celebrations this year and she contributed that money towards Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund of Kerala. The thought which was sprouted in Manusri’s mind was nurtured by her parents and they donated Rs.1000/– as voluntary contribution to Kerala Flood Victims. The school principal Smt. M. Ramani appreciated the noble act of Manusri and said that the little girl stood as an icon of the saying “service to man is service to god“. The Vice principal Smt. N. Sridevi Reddy appreciated the humane act of Manusri and her parents.
