Maths Day Celebrations @ apsnsp

Math is incredibly important in our lives and, we have to realize it. The laws of mathematics govern everything around us, and without a good understanding of them, one cannot even imagine living for a day. Everything in our day to day life needs calculation, let it be time, money, materials or attitude. It is a powerful tool for understanding the world around us and our perspective towards various important issues.

Here at Aditya we lay a remarkable emphasis on mathematics not only as a subject but as a discipline of life. In the context of Sir Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birthday, students at Aditya experienced a feeling of ecstacy when several models pertaining to various concepts of mathematics were demonstrated to them. They were blissful to see the glimpses of Ramanujan’s life and works presented on the digi board. Students of Std III performed a short play on the significance of mathematics in day to day life.

Principal Mr.A.N.S.S.K.PRASAD while addressing the students explained the significance of Mathematics and suggested the children to understand math practically so that it will be easy for them instead of considering it as a problem.
