NSS SPECIAL CAMP – 2019: BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM BY NSS VOLUNTEERS OF ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE

A Blood Donation program was organized on 07-01-2019 at Atchampeta, Brahmanandapuram and koppavaram villages under the organization of NSS team volunteers of Aditya Degree College. As a part of the program 50 NSS students and the people of Atchampeta donated the blood expressing their humanity. The camp was organized in the Upper Primary School, Atchampeta, under the supervision of Dr.Kamaraju, Rotary Medical Officer by the organizers of the Rotary Blood Bank.

Speaking on the occasion Sri. Naidu, Academic Coordinator, told that donating the blood is mere saving the life of the person. He also told that the human body regenerates the blood after few days with the new cells. It is a healthy process which defines that a person is fit and strong. Sri Y.Sriharinath Special officer of Atchampeta Gram Panchayat visited the camp as the Chief Guest and appreciated the NSS volunteers, Unit officers of Aditya Degree College for organizing such a great program. On the second day the Chief Guest Sri N.A.Chandramurthy stated that the survey made by the students will definitely be helpful for the people for immediate need.

Aditya Educational Institutions, Chairman, Sri N.Sesha Reddy, Secretary, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Academic Co-ordinator Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Vice Principal Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Sri Achari,Secretary, Atchampeta Village Panchayat, Smt Padmavathi, faculty  appreciated 50 students and the people of Atchampeta for donating blood. NSS program officers Sri T.Tejeswararao, Sri L.Diwakararao, NSS volunteers participated in this program.
