SANKRANTHI CELEBRATIONS IN ADITYA@PALAKOL

Makar Sankranthi, the harvest festival was celebrated on Friday at Aditya School, Palakol with traditional fervour and gaiety. Parents were invited for this celebration. The students of Aditya wore a festive look.

          ‘Haridasus’ and ‘Basvannas’ the uniquely attired alm-seekers with ornately decorated OX were seen making rounds in the ground.

Bhogi fire was lit in the ground by Director Sri S.V.Raghava Reddy.

          The teachers prepared rice kheer a special dish which is allowed to boil over, which symbolises the abundance.

          The entire campus turned into festive mood with flowers, garlands and Mango leaves decoration. High school students made the campus mare colourful with muggulu designs.

          Speaking on this occasion Director Sri S.V.Raghava Reddy said that these festivals symbolize the cultural heritage of India. By celebrating these festivals, we can inculcate our culture tradition among the children. He appreciated the effort of  students and staff for making this celebration a grand success.

          Later on all the students mesmerised the spectators by participating in competitions like Kabaddi, Rangoli, Songs etc.

          Finally all the parents shared their valuable feedback.
