SYNERGIA – 2K19, THE TWO DAY STATE LEVEL STATISTICS TECHNICAL WORKSHOP @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

The Academic Co-ordinator of Aditya Group of Degree & P.G Colleges and convenor Sri B.E.V.L Naidu said that SYNERGIA – 2K19, the third state level statistics technical workshop had been conducted in Aditya Degree College, Kakinada under the behest of the department of Statistics.

SYNERGIA – 2K19, the two day state level statistics technical workshop under the behest of the department of statistics was started on the premises of Aditya Degree College, Kakinada. 350 B.Sc Statistics students from 12 Degree colleges across the State of Andhra Pradesh attended the workshop. The Academic Coordinator of Aditya Group of Degree & P.G Colleges, Sri B.E.V.L Naidu presided over the function and Sri.P.Mohan, Senior Data Researcher, Tech Mahindra, Hyderabad attended as a Chief Guest. The program was started with the lightening of the lamp and a prayer song. Speaking on the occasion, Sri B.E.V.L Naidu spoke of the role of statistics in the today’s competitive world. He said that the students of statistics always stood in the forefront in securing employment. He asked the students to become Statistical officers. He said that Statistical data analysis, Data Sciences and Data Analytics were going to assume greater significance in the coming days. He also said that the two day workshop would prove to be highly beneficial for the students. Sri P.Mohan, Chief Guest and Resource person said that the employment opportunities for Statistics students were very high and statistics had a special role in every branch of science. He ask the students to do post graduation in statistics and focus their attention in the field of research. He made a power point presentation to give an account of the progress of statistics. The two day workshop is going to present comprehensive information about Data collection, Data classification, Data analysis and Data applications. The Chairman of Aditya Educational Institutions, Sri N.Sesha Reddy and Secretary Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy congratulated the Department of Statistics. The Academic Coordinator of Aditya Group of Degree & P.G Colleges, Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Principal of Aditya Degree College for women, Mrs K.Karuna, Vice Principal Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Incharge Sri N.Murthy, Faculty of Statistics Sri M.Simhadri, Sri Suresh Kumar and students were present on the occasion.
