R.K. NARAYAN ENGLISH CLUB INAUGURATION @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Academic Coordinator, Aditya Degree & P.G.Courses affirmed that an English Literary Club has been inaugurated by Sri R.K.Narayan, at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada under the behest of English & Soft Skills department. The main aim of this club is to create an enthusiasm among the students in speaking English and to develop their communication skills which can best be expressed by them through this club. The President of the program Sri B.E.V.L Naidu stated that English which is a mode of communication has become very prominent and mandatory in the present world. He also stated that Aditya is enriched with strong and capable faculty in English and Softskills to train and guide the students in flourishing their communication and inter personal skills. The club is commenced under the name of RHETORIC – 2K19, unleash your competence. RHETORIC-2K19 is started with the lightening of the lamp and a prayer song. The Chief Guest of the program Sri.Kompella Satyanarayana Murthy, a great littérateur explained the importance of English, its beauty, need and the misconceptions of the language. The Guest of the honor of the program Sri.R.O.L Sharma, a famous writer from Nellore opined that the students of present generation should develop the ability to express themselves and the inter personal skills along with good communication skills in which they are lagging behind. Later, Prizes were given to the winners of  various competitions such as Power Point Presentation, Spell bee contest, Quiz, Poster presentation, Picture description, Skit and extempore.
