ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE STUDENTS ORGANIZED A PEACE RALLY AGAINST TERRORISM

On 14th February 2019, a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Lethpora (near Awantipora) in the Pulwama districtJammu and Kashmir, India. The attack resulted in the death of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and the attacker. In connection with the incident, the NSS teams of Aditya Degree College in coordination with the NSS program officers has organized a rally of peace on the streets of Shantinagar. This rally was organized in order to pay homage and respects to the CRPF jawans and to create awareness among the people in the society. The Academic Coordinator Sri B.E.V.L Naidu started the rally by waving the flag resembling peace. Speaking on the details of the  program he stated that every individual should have some good characters such as humanity, peace and a zeal to serve the mankind. We, the adityans have utmost respects towards the jawans as they are the pillars of the country, saving the mankind of India from all the dangerous aspects. He advised the students to be the jawans to fight against the illegal and unlawful activities that are happening in the present society. The students raised the slogans such as ‘Veer Jawan Amar Rahe’ and ‘Kill Terrorism not peace’ through out the rally. Sri B.E.V.L Naidu, Vice-Principal Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, NSS program officers Sri T.Tejeswararao, Sri L.Diwakararao, Chief Librarian Sri SVR Prabhakar, the faculty members and the other students followed the rally. Sri.N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman; Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Secretary, Aditya Educational Institutions paid their respects and appreciated the work of the NSS team.
