WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY PROGRAM 2K19 @ ADITYA DEGREE COLLEGE, KAKINADA

The President of the program Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu announced that World Blood Donor Day was celebrated at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada, as a part of NSS. As in the celebrations the students and the lecturers donated their blood in the Blood Donation Camp which was organized by the NSS officers and the student volunteers of Aditya under the supervision of Rotary Medical Officer Dr.Kamaraju. The program started with the lightening of a lamp and a prayer song. Presiding over the program as a president Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu stated that donating the blood is a very healthy habit where under the serious conditions it can save a life. He gave a call to youngsters to donate the blood once in four months to be healthy and strong. The Chief Guest of the program Dr.M.Pavan kumar, Additional officer of District Medical and Health department inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the students he stated that, sufficient blood which is required in the serious conditions to the patients is not available these days. So he opined that more number of people should come forward to donate the blood and to become the blood donors as no factories can be setup to produce blood. He appreciated the students and the management of Aditya for organizing the blood donation camp, on account of the birthday celebrations of Smt.Lakshmi Rajyam wife of Sri.N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman, Aditya Educational Institutions, which turned as a synonym for Blood Donors. For organizing this great socio responsible activity, he conveyed his gratitude to family members of Sri.N.Sesha Reddy   and the Academic Director Sri.B.E.V.L Naidu. Speaking on the program the Secretary of Aditya Educational Institutions, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy first wished Smt.Lakshmi Rajyam a Happy Birthday and then opined that every individual in the society should be aware of the advantages of Blood donation and more number of blood donation camps should be organized all over India to save the lives of the people. He also said that the female blood donors number is increasing day by day realizing the value of blood donation. He opined that this a good sign which indicates the growth of our country.  Sri.S.ChiranjeeviReddy, promoter of Rotary Blood Blank appreciated the work of NSS teams of Aditya. Later, V.Venkataswamy (50), S.Vishnu (34), G.SivaPrasad (31), N.Krishna Deepak Reddy (27), Ch.V.V.Prasad Reddy (26) and K.Chakradhar rao (20) were felicitated, for donating their blood for the highest number of times, through the hands of the Chief Guest Dr.N.Pavan Kumar.  Sri N.Sesha Reddy, Chairman, Aditya Educational Institutions, appreciated the Blood Donors. Sri C.H.Peddaraju, Secretary, Rotary Blood Blank; Sri Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Vice-Principal, Aditya Degree College; NSS program officers Sri.T.Tejeswararao, Sri.L.Diwakararao; members of Rotary Club and NSS volunteers participated in this program.
